Golden Smokey Eyes

Gold is one of those colours that suits everyone, whether you want a bold and dark gold or a very sheen like summer glow. As a YouTuber I created a series of 'Smokey Eyes' how to, asking my subscribers to leave there favourite colours so I could create different looks for the people who watch my videos.

Neutral Smokey Eyes

The choice of the amount of makeup you wear on a daily basis is your own. Some women like to wear a full face of makeup, some only like to wear the basics. Whatever you choose it is completely fine.

On a daily basis I don't wear a full face of makeup. My daily routine consists of moisturiser, foundation, blusher, mascara and lipstick or gloss. Although there are some days I do like to play around with my eye makeup, when I have more time and energy.

This post is for girls like me and girls that like to wear a full face. This can be used on a daily basis like school or work and it would be great for a night out. I feel this smokey really opens your eyes, there are dark tones to add defination but the neutral tones gives a soft delicate touch.

Elizabeth Arden Palette - Colours - Bronze - Gold - Light Shimmer
Number 7 Eyeshadow Palette - Colour Brown
Avon Black Eyeliner

How To Messy Bun

A hair bun is a perfect way to get your hair out of your face, whether your hair is dirty or you don't have the time. All you need are a few grips or slides and a bobble! It's a very quick and easy up-do whether it's for work, school, a night out or on a daily basis! It's perfect for most hair lengths other than really short.

You can use a doughnut ring as a base but I find that they give you a very smooth finish, and even if you try to make it messy; it only makes your hair look matted.

This is my way of creating a messy hair bun without using a doughnut ring.

Everyday Makeup Routine

Almost every woman has a different way of applying their makeup. On a daily basis some women like to wear a lot of makeup, but others prefer to be more natural. However you choose to wear your makeup, a small or large amount is just fine; the choice is yours.

I change my routine on a day to day basis as I choose between eyeshadow and eyeliner and blusher and  bronzer. I do this because I feel it keeps my makeup looking fresh, so I don't have the same makeup on everyday. If you have a set routine then thats great but I am a little indecisive.

This is my current everyday makeup routine at the moment. This routine is perfect for any occasion as it is classy and simple, so you can wear it to school, work, a day out or a night out.

Please checkout the Video How To on my Youtube Channel below.

Bold Black Cat Eyes Tutorial

Cat Eyes can be worn in different ways for different occasions, whether you want drastic eyes or small eye lines. The choice is yours. If you like dark drastic eye makeup, this tutorial is for you. You can mix it up, tone it down or add more colour and liner for more definition. I am a definite believer that these cat eyes would look amazing on a lady with darker skin or darker hair. I have quite fair skin and I do wear dark makeup, but wouldn't go so far as block black eyes. I would add a smokey effect and less liner, cat eyes are really effective especially with full thick lashes. I did not apply fake eyelashes in this tutorial as I didn't have any at hand, but I think eyelashes would be the icing on the cake for this look.

This eye makeup is great for a day to evening wear. Start with a a subtle smokey eye for the day and add liquid liner, eye liner and more black eye shadow to last the whole evening.

Essentials For This Look

Black/Charcoal Eyeshadow
Black Eyeliner
Black Liquid Eyeliner
Black Mascara
Gold Eyeshadow
Fake Eyelashes (Optional)

How To: Dye your Eyebrows and Eyelashes at Home

Since Cara Delevingne graced the catwalks and fashion magazines, it has been deemed stylish to have big bold eyebrows, but how hard is it to maintain it you don't. I love that her eyesbrows are darker than her blonde locks, which defines her features and contrasts against her light complexion. Everyone seems to be jumping on the brow bandwagon and it is very easy to look like they have drawn on!

I have always dyed my eyebrows to get defined and shapely brows. I use the Eylure Dylash even though it is used more for eyelashes. This is a permanent dye so it will last for a decent amount of time, and it can be used on blonde to black hair colours.

I haven't dyed my eyelashes before as I have always used mascara, but recently applying and removing mascara has been causing irritation around the eyes. I used the Dylash to dye my lashes on the top lid, with the lash brush provided. Leaving the dye on for 5 minutes was enough time to create the illusion of mascara. This will save you time, effort and money.

This product is a great bargain buy at £7.00. I bought it over 7 months ago from boots and have used it twice, so it will last a long time. It will make your eyelashes or eyebrows look as dark as you want them to look, making your face and features look more defined. So if you are sick of mascara and brow pencils or you just can't be bothered in morning then this is for you!

Please checkout the video tutorial below and my YouTube page for other tutorials and DIY's. Let me know what you think of Eylure Dylash.

How To: Acrylic Nails

I am a huge lover of acrylic nails and yes I am completely aware that they are not best solution for the health of your nails, but if you look at it that way. What heels are good for your feet? What Products and appliances are good for your hair? Stuff that all of us use on a day to day basis are probably not the best solution, but we still use them. Why is that?
The one and only reason is that they enhance our looks, making us all feel more confident and attractive. We don't think about the bad things, as long as it doesn't make our hair fall out or anything drastic. As women we are constantly looking for ways to feel more beautiful in our own skin, whether its makeup, hair, fashion or your personality. There are always constant updates on enhancing your look and appearance.

I can admit I am one of those people, I don't think about the downside. If I like something and I want it then I am going to get it, like most people. The one thing I didn't like when it came to acrylic nails, was the price. So you go to the salon to get your nails done once a month, which on average is £25 - £30, you can get your nails done for £15 but only in certain areas. If your nails grow fast you may need in-fills which costs around £15, which brings you to a monthly total of £40 at the minimum. This usually doesn't include a design, majority of salons will charge extra for that. I got to a point where I was spending stupid money on my nails and it was really starting to frustrate me.

I had my nails removed to let my real nails breathe, but after a week my short nails looked really sad! I decided to buy an acrylic nail set for myself to try and save money, and also teach myself to do my own nails. The acrylic set I bought was a Nailene set from Savers which costs £7.99, but you can purchase them in Boots, although they are double the Savers price. I also bought a set of white tip nails which were £1.99 and the Elegant Touch Nail Polish Remover which removes artificial nails as well, this was £1.00. You don't neccessarily need the Nail Polish Remover, I only bought it to be on the safe side incase something went wrong. That brings our total to £9.99 without the Nail Polish Remover. This is a huge saving of… £30.01. The most important aspect is that your set and nails will last you multiple months. I can imagine the acrylic set will last you maybe 3 months. Thats £3.33 for each month and even if yours only last two months, that is still an incredible saving.

So please please please get yourself down to Savers, Boots or go Online and try this out. Its may end up saving you quite a lot of money on a monthly basis, and if you don't like it then you've hardly lost anything! I finished my nails with the O.P.I Shatter Nail Varnish which you can see in the video below.

I hope your having a lovely day!

How to: Natural Skin Glow

Everyone wants that natural glow that gives you flawless skin without caking on the makeup. I'm not a fan of applying a lot of makeup, it's not nice when you see it sitting on your skin or if you itch or wipe your nose and you see your actually skin colour! I think the best makeup is when you can't tell you have make up on. The natural look is more appealing to most women than having layers of makeup on. It makes you more attractive, is better for your skin and looks effortless.   This is such an easy makeup routine for day to day or to add more definition.

Please checkout the video below for the  tutorial, its a quick and easy way to give you great looking skin. If you like this makeup tutorial please give me a thumbs up and let me know what you think!!
