MicaBella Cosmetics - Love of Makeup

This week I visited Westfields in Stratford, London. I was approached by the friendly owner from the Mica Bella Cosmetic stand outside H&M. I usually walk straight past politely but for some reason my body stopped. I do not know why but I am so glad I did.  He explained that they do a variety of products from mineral makeup to skin care.

The foundation comes in a large pot and can last for a very long time, depending on the amount you use. The mineral foundation is a concealer, foundation and press powder all in one so you do not need to do use other products. The texture of the foundation is very light but provides amazing cover, you will not realise you have makeup on and it's very easy to remove.

The blush comes in the same size pot as the foundation and is available is several different Peach/Rose shades for all complexions.

The eye shadows come in a smaller pot and are available in every colour you could possibly think of. The colours do come up quite vibrant so if you want a simpler look, just use a less amount and it will appear thinner. If you want an eye colour that you don't have, you can mix two of the eyeshadows to create a brand new colour. The minerals will mix together very easily and this is so you don't have to put on layer after layer to get the colour you want.

The impressive aspect of the MicaBella blushers and eye shadows, are that they are very versatile. You have the ability to use them in a different ways.

This eyeshadow is called Sunset from the Night colours. It's a very pretty pink and can be used as an eyeshadow, lipgloss, nail varnish and blusher. I know what your thinking, at the time I was like what? No way!

To make your nail varnish you will need a clear nail varnish, any make is fine. It could be the cheapest nail varnish you can find it does not make a difference. All you need to do is tip your clear nail varnish into your eyeshadow and apply it to your nails.

To make your lip gloss you will need a pot of Vaseline or any sort of lip balm. Using a cotton bud take some Vaseline, dip it into your eyeshadow and mix on your hand, then apply to your lips.

To use as a blusher it is very easy, just apply it to your cheeks. If you have a shimmery eyeshadow, you may want to mix it with your Micabella blush to get the right colour and consistency.

When I was shown this I was very impressed, you can use this one eyeshadow to create an entiry look. This stops you storing makeup and cosmetics as your one product becomes several.

They also sell a range of brushes that are so soft and primers that feel like the best piece of silk material you have ever felt.

They have a skincare range called Jewels for men and women. This range includes everything from body scrubs, body butter, anti-aging creams, exfoliating face peels, cleansing face wash and moisturisers. My initial thought was why is this product better than any other moisturiser or cleanser. There are three different Jewel ranges from Micabella Cosmetics.

The Gold, Diamond and Pearl Collection all have organic extracts and ingredients including Diamond Dust, Pearl Dust and 24K Gold Dust. This is the reason these skincare products are so effective.

I was shown a demonstration on my wrist with an exfoliator from the Gold Collection. After appling the exfoliator you leave it to soak for 30 seconds and massage into your skin. I saw the dead skin peal away from my own skin and I had been in the shower that morning so my skin was newly washed. It was a little bit grose but very impressive, it was definately an eye opener to how impressive these skincare collections are because of the organic extracts and ingredients.

Foundation -£50
Blusher - £40
Eyeshadows - £20
The brushes, primers and skincare vary in price.

These products are slightly on the pricey side because they are so effective, versatile, long lasting and will make putting on makeup super easy and quick. If you would like to enquire into these products please go to the Westfield Micabella Stand in Stratford and speak to their team. If you do not want to but anything there and then that's fine. Inform them that you would like to enquire into their products and test them for future reference, I'm certain you will not be disappointed. The team are very helpful and will show you everything you have an interest in. This is so you can test the products to see if they are right for you before spending a lot of money. Make sure you let them know that you saw this blog post and that I sent you.

They are selling a gift set at the moment that will save you a lot of money to buying the products separately   You will get a foundation, blusher, three eyeshadows, a foundation brush and a eyeshadow brush. This is set if you like this brand and it's products, so go down and see how much you can save! If you can't make it to the Westfields in London then these products are available through most beauty stores online and the Micabella Cosmetics website.

I do apologise that this blog post is quite long but this is definately something to share with you beautiful people.

Let me know if you love Micabella Cosmetics and if you have visited the team at the Micabella Westfields stand.

Lots of Love
Katy
